Real Cowboys Capture Wild Burros

If you think real cowboys are to be found in rodeos, this video may come as a surprise. Real cowboys, or wranglers work with animal protection people to capture wild burros, to save them from being shot by the US Park Service.

depending on where you are depends if you wear a cowboy hat on the range or a baseball cap, in certain states the cowboy hats will get in the way because of how the weather is, for example because of the angle of how the sun sits in the sky and the wind and also depending on how cold or warm it is will also come into consideration, i live in texas on a ranch and we all wear cowboy hats and cowboy boots are not all pointed and slip on/off. But thanks for appreciating what we do.

This is amazing. I respect people like this. :) I have a long history of true cowboys in my family (not the one that perform in rodeos). I find those pointed boots so stupid. XD

I would just like to say that there are some real cowboys in other areas. Not all are like the rodeo preps. By the way, thanks for doing this...it opens eyes.

Buck Brannaman wears the silly get up, but he is a true honest to goodness Cowboy. I have never seen him do anything to harm another living being on purpose, unlike those clowns at rodeo. You should check out the documentary that just came out on DVD of him! What a story he has : )
and rodeo clowns (not just the ones in make up, mind you) make me sick.
