I have found that there is a lot of confusion surrounding the Flip when it comes to editing, so this tutorial will alleviate some of the mix-ups. This tutorial shows the process for Windows Movie Maker, although the process is almost exactly the same for all editing programs for both Mac and PC.

Well if the import option isn't available on your Windows Movie Maker then you need to trouble shoot that which is beyond the scope of this lesson.

If you just can't find your media, make sure you have copied it off your Flip onto your hard drive and you should be good to go!
