Flag-lowering ceremony in Tiananmen Square

Smack bang in front of Mao's picture in Tiananmen Square is a Chinese flag that is lowered each day at sunset. Despite the -15 Degrees Celsius temperature when I made this clip, there were about 5,000 people behind me looking at this ceremony. In summer, that's more like 100,000 people.

You should have seen the falg raising ceremony in the early morning, you get a special feelings inside you as they raise the flag and as you are surrounded by strangers each joined together for this single less than a minute event they planned their entire morning for, waking up early and waiting.
