It's doing a complete map... Imagine if those were connected hallways, and you had to use a pen and paper to map out each one so you could fax the map to a friend. You would look pretty retarded too, to an overhead observer.

How? I'd say that NXT goes straight in line with the ways of lego; allowing people to create. It's a good robotics kit that offers enormous opportunity; and it's relatively cheap, to boot. I, personally, like NXT, and the fact that it's made by Lego is icing on the cake.

what do u mean by "shake" the robot goes straight with the instruction to move both engines syncronized.

Of course it does, its always printing on the screen the current direction and the point its crossing. For example (3,2) or (1, 4).... the starting point is obviously (0,0).

Was there a difference between the first and the second robot? Or was the first just a bit stupid?

the first start the way without any idea of the maze, when he find the solution, send the fastest way with the Bluetooth technology to the 2nd...thats why the 2ns seems to be more "intelligent". The 2nd is the stupid, bcos he cant do anything by himself!
