  • What does it say about our world, that men who call for peace, understanding, and unity among us all are struck down in violence. Jesus Christ, Ghandi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Oscar Romero.

  • God bless the soul of Msgr. Oscar Romero---and Raul Julia. And all the souls of those who perished in this repression. My prayers are for them.

  • I like the way the cup stood up straight after he dropped it

  • @FlamingBat I would say those are real-life victims. I'm sure those are archive pictures of bodies found during the conflict. Besides, you can tell because they are all in black and white, which shows that they might be newspaper pictures.

  • St. Oscar Romero, Martyr of Christ. He died for the faith, and for the faithful.

  • God Bless Romero, may he rest in peace, and may God have mercy on the facist murderers in El Salvador who had no mercy for the poor.

  • Are those photos of actors or of the real-life victims?

  • American School of the Americas

trained and supplied the guns and ammo

In the name of Americans everywhere the slaughter continues

  • Archbishop Romero did not deserve to die. However, would we have known of his work for human rights if he had not been maytred? I don't know. I like to think that he would be.

  • I hate this part when he's shot. I felt so bad the first time i saw it...

people like him dont deserve to die. We need a Romero in every country in the world, i may not know who am i gonna be in some years, but i do know who i'd want to be like. :) Thanks monseñor, no hay nada que Diosito no sane, es lo mejor que nos ha dejado en esta tierra, el amor, su amor.
