I got my HD hero surf kit last night and tried it out in the pool and made this video. I only used the 720p 60fps and 1080p 30fps modes in these shots. Slow mos are the 60fps. All the editing was done in iMovie 11. I am still trying to figure out the best way to get the highest quality out of the videos. I exported this from iMovie in 1080p, and used the files straight from the camera without changing them. If you guys have any suggestions for me feel free. I hope to get better at filming with this and make some great videos.

  • I can't post a link but you can google gopro flat lens, I got mine from a company called mako.

  • Did you use the normal water proof case that comes with the cam?

  • @codkiller100 Yes just the one it came with. I ended up buying a flat lens to replace the curved lens the case comes with. The flat lens sometimes has a hard time focusing under water which is what gives the cloudy effect. I will be taking it to Cozumel, Mexico this December to film some stuff underwater. The camera works great in water, we used it at Lake Powell on the wake board and got some cool footage.
