PS22 Chorus Kindergartener ZARIA "Do Lord" (American Idol)

5 year old Zaria stole the show and the won the title of American Idol in her category (junior singers K-2nd grade) for this amazing performance of the spiritual, "Do Lord"! This was the finals of our original American Idol contest back in 2003. Zaria is now in fifth grade and a current member of the PS22 Chorus.

Great, though I must say as a fellow music teacher, I'm worried about how low the range of the song is. A child this young should be singing much higher!!

Where is this school located. I just stumbled on your channel and I'm hooked...I wish we had more teachers like you, and I'm so amazed at the numbers of colored children singing, especially thr young boys...Like growing up boys were like no I'm not singin in no choir...LoL..I love this keep doing the good work and spreading love,
