TRADUÇÃO: Kevin comenta que sua agente lhe mandou o roteiro de Hércules e ele de início não levou a sério.Ele teria de desenvolver mais músculos sem usar esteróides. Mas ele iria para a Nova Zelândia e seriam 4 longa-metragens e ele aceitou ir à audição.

Ele fez várias e várias audições... ele repetia o que vinha fazendo na audição anterior e isso durou meses...

A moça que escolheria o ator e estava presente sugeriu que ele tirasse a camisa e seu corpo era seu maior recurso. Um dos homens sugeriu que ele raspasse o peito mas Kevin disse que não achava que Kevin deveria ter seu peito liso... mais dias se passaram.

No dia 24 de setembro Kevin estava no Canadá fazendo um episódio da série The Comish e então veio a boa notícia de seu agente: "Você é Hércules!"

Ele iria treinar artes marciais com um especialistas e a Universal iria promover muito a série. Kevin gostou da ideia de passar um ano na Nova Zelândia e fazer o papel. Kevin sabia que uma nova mitologia iria começar.
