This was actually a rerun of 'On Golden Pond'. It had its broadcast television premiere on February 5, 1984. I believe this was the 2nd airing of the movie.
Fits PERFECTLY with the 1981 intro. From the film leader countdown, to the joining of the Proud N and the Peacock, to the NBC Chimes.
Speaking of that 1981 intro, Our Pride Is Showing has a completely different "song". The Just Watch Us Now and the Be Theres pretty much used the same arrangement only in a different key and the jingle added at the end. Was it a different composer? Because I imagine the same music used here can be used with Our Pride Is Showing. Or for that matter, Come Home.
@Attmay That's exactly right! That 1981 graphic is what I envisioned hearing this music on; I thought that the Cylinder Marquee wouldn't be ready to go until late '85.

The movie version of Let's All Be There
plus, the 1981 movie animation
Equals, DO YOU HAVE THAT OPENING from EARLY 1984?
Before they changed the music, but kept using THIS open?

They're treating it like if was written by either Kevin Smith or Quentin Tarantino.

This music must have been intended for the prior movie opening (the one from 1981). It didn't get much use.
