Southern Spirit Showdown ~ In The Game Magazine 2009

On Saturday, September 26, 2009, the Lowndes High Varsity Competition Cheerleaders hosted the 3rd Annual Southern Spirit Showdown. There were 9 middle schools and 12 varsity teams competing.

The winners for Middle School Small Division were:
1st Place: Waycross Middle School
2nd Place: Pierce County Middle School
3rd Place: Valdosta Middle School

In the Middle School Large Division the winners were:
1st Place: Colquitt County Middle School
2nd Place: Eighth Street Middle School

A Division
1st Place: Bacon County High School
2nd Place: Irwin County High School

AA Division
1st Place: Fitzgerald High School
2nd Place: Berrien County High School

AAA Division
1st Place: Mary Persons High School
2nd Place: Worth County High School

Co-ed Division
1st Place: Westover High School

AAAAA Division
1st Place: Valdosta High School
2nd Place: Lowndes High School
