Courtyards and rooms that were carved into the rock in the 10th or 11th century. This is for for the Buddhist priests who lived here at Gunung Kawi (Translated to be "The Mountain of the Poets" or "Mountain of Poetry"). It was a mix of creepy and cool, but I felt like I was in a special place and I thought I would try to give a silent walking tour. The signs written on the rocks say things like "Do not take things, Do not make noise, Do not wear shoes, etc...
