とても簡単に抹茶(お薄)をたてることができます。
お抹茶(1gから1.2g)はダマができないように茶こしでふるいながらお茶碗に入れ­、お湯(約70℃60cc)を注ぎ、茶筅でたてる。 この茶筅の動かし方にポイントがあります。
1.最初は茶筅をお茶碗の底につけるように­し、しっかり早く動かして、お薄を泡立てるようにします。
2.泡立ってきたら、茶筅で泡の表面をなでていきます。こうすると、大きかった泡がだ­んだん小さくなっていきます。
3.最後に、茶筅でひらがなの「の」の字を書くように泡­の表面をなで、そのまま茶筅を泡の中心まで動かしてそっとお茶碗から引き上げます。
これでできあがり。

How to make a matcha.
1. Sieve two teaspoons of matcha powder into a tea bowl (or as described below 1A)
2. Put about 60ml of boiled water (70C-80C) into the bowl
3. Vigorously mix the tea powder until there are a lot of bubbles
4. Gently whisk the surface of the tea to make the bubbles smaller
5. Finally, circle the whisk around the edge of the tea and take it out from the center

1A. Put a level teaspoon of matcha powder into a tea bowl and add a small amount of cold water to dissolve the powder

    You're right and you don't have to use a sieve.

    But it's better to sieve in order to avoide lumps.

    Actually, in a formal situation we usually sieve matcha before the tea ceremony.

  • you do not need that sieve.
