Unique film footage of WW2 escape by five Dutchmen from Nazi occupied Holland. Film shows rescue by RAF High Speed Rescue launch 185 on February 24, 1944. The Dutch students are John Osten, Hein Fuchter, Edzard Moddemeijer, Henk Baxmeier and Flip Winckel. The RAF Skipper is Sidney Spencer Bates, MBE. They had the good fortune of making their way over to England amidst Operation Argument, a.k.a. "Big Week." Consequently many more RAF rescue launches were on hand to pick up downed US and British aircrews. Film shot by Captain A.J. Hardy of the Mighty 8th.
