How Did he [the Little Horn of the fourth beast] Change Times & Laws

1. Divine Law was Usurped When Civil Laws Were Changed

January wasnt always the beginning of the year. Gods original plan was for it to begin in the spring. The timing and tracking of when the world begins each year, was changed from the Biblical reckoning, which is spring (March or April) to winter (January), and from the lunar cycle to the solar cycle to emphasize pagan solar worship. Who was responsible for changing the year to begin in January 1st? The Encyclopedia Britannica (Vol. 4, 1968 edition, p. 616 1st col. par 1.) tells us that it was the Roman emperor, Julius Caesar who made the changes in 45 bc. When Pope Gregory the XIII (1582-1585) modified this calendar it became known as the Gregorian calendar and is the one we use today. (See Thorndike Barnhart Advanced Junior Dictionary.)

By changing the civil calendar cycle, he [the Little Horn of the fourth beast] took the entire world off Gods prophetic time clock. These changes set Gods people at a disadvantage for easily following Gods prophetic calendar of divine appointments that point to the events of Christs Second Advent that we are told will be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service. 2. Divine Law was Usurped When Religious Laws Were Changed

A letter from a Bishop will explains:

Dear Friend, I have offered and still offer $1000 to any one who can prove to me from the Bible alone that I am bound, under grievous sin, to keep Sunday holy. It was the Catholic Church, which made the law obliging us to keep Sunday holy. The Catholic Church abolished not only the Sabbath, but all the other Jewish festivals. Respectfully, T. Enright C.S.S.R., Bishop of St. Alphonsus Church, St. Louis, Missouri, June, 1905.

The following quote reveals that the Mother Churchs new laws had a hidden agenda and it included more than just the Sabbath versus Sunday issue. She claims:

The new law has its own spirit and its own feasts which have taken the place of those [plural] appointed in the Law of Moses. If we would know the days to be observed we must go to the Catholic Church, not the Mosaic Law. Catholic Catechism, quoted in Signs of the Times, 11/4/1919.

The Catholic Church has feast days?
What are Her Feasts?

The SDA Bible Commentary Vol. 9 gives us the answer:

•Entry 1688. Ten Commandments-Catholic Catechism Enlarges on the Third [i.e. Fourth]
210. Which days must we keep holy like the Sunday? We must keep the Holydays of obligation holy like the Sunday.
211.Which are the Holydays of obligation in the United States? The Holydays of obligation in the U.S. are:
1)The Immaculate Conception. December 8.
2)Christmas. December 25.
3)The Circumcision of our Lord. New Years day.
4)The Ascension of our Lord. 40 days after Easter.
5)The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. August 15.
6)All Saints Day. November 1.
212.How must we keep holy the Sundays and Holydays of obligation? We must keep holy the Sundays and Holydays of obligation
1)by not doing any servile work,
2)by hearing Mass.
Source: W. Faerber, Catechism for the Catholic Parochial Schools of the United States (15th and 16th ed.: St Louis: B. Herder 1913), pp. 41, 42 as quoted in the SDA Bible Commentary, Vol. 9, p. 1031.

Her feast days are her holydays of obligation. This catechism says that they must be kept holy like the Sunday. The new pope, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, of Germany, revamped the Catholic Catechism 10 years before coming into office April 19, 2005. This revision gives us enlightening information.

In respecting religious liberty and the common good of all, Christians should seek recognition of Sunday and the Churchs holy days as legal holidays. Catholic Catechism, par. 2188; as quoted in a letter from Amazing Facts in April-May 2005.

The Pope has power to change times, and to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even precepts of Christ. Decretal De Translate. Espiscop. Cap.

Repeatedly the Catholic Church arrogantly boasts of her power to command and ordain her own feasts and continues to mock Protestants for keeping them and breaking what they call most other feasts.

She was the Great Mother Goddess of the Saxon people in Northern Europe.
