Last time Vanessa left because of her hand. Farmer's Market challenge - sweet 16 birthday party $100 to buy ingredients for 1 appetizer & 2 entrees. 45 mins to cook a tasting menu. Melissa & her mom show up for tasting. They pick 1 men's & 1 women's dish for the party and the tie breaker goes to the men. Women must decorate w/outrageous party planner. Men enjoy gp-karts & sweet desserts w/Ramsey. Party will include the regular menu + the men's chicken wing + beef dish + the women's halibut. After 45 mins the appetizers are served. Melissa & her mom's dishes were disappointing. Gordon had to cook for the ladies & Bobby took over for Matt. Both sides end up completing service. Melissa enjoys a performance by the Pink Spiders. Comments cards are basically a tie. There are no losers. Men nominate Matt - Women - Shayna & Rosann. Shayna is gone for being too slow. Matty is sent to the girls' team. Next week - All Hell's Kitchen breaks loose.

I couldn't believe Melissa's mother - what a ridiculous twit. Rude, ugly, frigid, and pretentious. Her 'daughters palette is being groomed' - uh huh - she had never eaten a shrimp and couldn't identify a pomegranite seed at 16. Stupidity rears it's head often in pretentious snobbery. No excuse for that obsurd lack of manners.
