  • im sure i found a tutorial on how to make this online but it was unfinished??? is there any way you could show me how to make the jog wheels man! or at least show me someone who can!!!! i have alot of time for this project of yours =] siiiick!!!! alotof time and research has gone into this beast! and i like it

  • @HiroClownstep

    thanks for the support.

I have been receiving many email from people who want to build their own controller. If you wait a few months I will launch a kickstarter campaign which will allow you to design your own, awesome controller.

Jogwheels/rotary encoders are a nasty beast. If I have some free time maybe I will post a tutorial on them, otherwise, just wait for the kickstarter campaign - the new design will be superb.

  • Cool. Does Arduino send midi messages through USB? Or do you have to use the midi port? I would love to make a midicontroller that just uses usb! Do you have the schematics for this?

  • @ihatekhomeini

Im doing MIDI through conventional MIDI cables on this one, however, MK2 will use USB. All details to build your own will be made available for MK2.

  • any chance we could see the arduino code ?

  • yeah send an email my way

see all

  • @FuzzyWobble Hi I search how to make jogwheels with arduino for traktor. Can you tell me how do you make yours ? sorry for my english I learn it :)

  • i dig the wood platters

  • How about the input lag/rapid fader movements e.t.c?

btw, how did you geht the rotary encoders to work? do they just send different notes depending on l/r rotation or is it more complicated?
