@laptoph4x i have an HP turbo kit with a pair of garret T3/T4 57mm, journal not bearings.Tthe restrictors are needed because of the high volume oil pump on these cobras. when i first added the kit i blew a seal within a month. it was to much oil pressure plus the exit of the oil on the turbo is only slightly higher than the top of the oil pan which is were the return line enters it and this causes it not to drain fast enough. i know a bunch of cars with this kit and all need this pump.

@1ttcobra2003 i Dont know what kind of turbo you have but the oil restrictor could starve the turbo for lubrication and damage your bearing. Maybe its leaking and thats your oil burning problem? Im not a turbo expert but it sounds logical.

@laptoph4x a pump is deffenetly needed for this set up. I have the same turbo kit without the pump, just oil restrictors and my car smokes everytime i floor it and come to a quick stop.

@02BlackStallion oil scavenge pumps help drain the oil from the turbo back to the oil pan. i kinda doubt it is needed for this setup though, the turbos are mounted fairly high so they should drain pretty good.
