This is my review of the Chamber Olive Oil Lamp sold by Lehman's. If you would like to take a look at the options they offer, please click here

You could also buy parts from Lehman's to make your own lamps. Or you could build your own wick stand and use Hemp string that you purchase at Lowe's or Home Depot or cotton wicks and make it 100% custom made.

  • I know this has nothing to do with the actual video but is that the Magpul MOE foliage green kit on your AR? I've been thinking about getting that for my AR but wanted to know how it compares in color to OD green, which is what I was originally going to do but since OD is out of stock everywhere, I'm thinking about going with FDE OR FG. Thanks!

  • @dandingo13 That is FG, and I like it a lot. It is a little lighter in color than OD

  • OMG! that was extra virgin oil...Nobody is that rich.

  • Cotton wash clothes cut into strips work great as wicks.

  • i just made one in 5 mins... a small glass jar, cooking oil, a piece of string and some wire. you dont need a kit it works really well. i got the idea from the oak ridge "nuclear war survival guide" but this video helped inspire me

  • I kept a vegi oil lamp burning in my room as a kid for about 6 months. they are totally safe if knocked over in an indoor environment. the only problem is they make one heck of a mess and don't completely clean out of cloth materials like carpet and upholstery. its important to note that in the bible whenever they reference a lamp they are probably talking about olive oil. this is nothing new under the sun :) thanx for the reminder keep it up

  • Nice. Always nice to see old school alternatives.
