  • Very nice. I like it. Music could have been a bit more upbeat. So? You can't get into those observation towers anymore? Or anywhere near the ny pavilion? looks like it's fenced off:-(

  • Most people tend to live in the past or the future, not knowing that in the present and being aware that you are in the moment is when you create your future.something so simple yet most people dont know this. Its called the present because it is a gift from God!

  • Not sure what this video has to do with the 64/65 World's Fair .... could have been shot anywhere ....

  • @wickedAngleeyes It was a celebration of technology & science & various cultures. I went there when I was 8 yrs. old & it was AWESOME!

  • Excellent. Yep, the World's Fair. I'm glad to have been able to visit the observation towers when the Fair was in operation, as a child. Shame it's fallen to ruin and can't be accessed now.

  • @Cobra11Star since this video was taken the fences have been taken down from around the pavillion, but there is a permenant fence around the towers. If you are lucky there are some times when the parks department needs voulenteers to help out inside the pavillion and they take anyone they can get, so thats the only way to get into the pavilion. As for the towers no one is ever gona be able to get up to the towers because they have been deemed unsafe for the public.

  • @Cobra11Star I think the infrastructure is compromised. It probably can no longer support the weight of a person.

  • @trainboyrob Oh OK thanks! Why is there a fence? Why isn't it allowed to go into the pavilion or the observation towers?

  • @wickedAngleeyes This is the remnants of the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. ...

  • @Cobra11Star this was back in 2008 when they were doing work on it, the stairs are gone now.
