Xmas Special: Xmas Lemmings

Today, I wish you all a merry christmas. And I got a present for you: Xmas Lemmings. It was a series of short demo versions done by DMA Design (now Rockstar North) and published by Psygnosis between 1991 and 1994, based on the original Lemmings released in 1991. I hope, you like it :)

The mac version had the best music. Maybe it's due to nostalgia but I prefer it over the DOS or Amiga version.

Hmm, it probably shouldn't surprise me - As I understoof it, DMA always did target the Amiga first,

Quite wrong in this. These first DOS versions had no Lemmings speak or anything other than simple Adlib music. There are no other options on these pre-1993 games. The later versions around the time the Windows and Mac versions came out did indeed have Lemmings speak and better music. The Amiga versions though have always had speech and great music.

i spent hours on this game. but i could never pass certain levels. it was pretty fucking hard! too much thinking involved.

:It's not, actually. PC games tended to be very scaleable, so the bar is set very low at the lowest end. This is being played back on something sub-par. The Lemmings don't even "speak" because it's either been misconfigured or there's no digital sound card.
