27 December 2010: Scenes and thoughts from London's Operation Cast Lead Second Anniversary Vigil.

PLEASE SHARE, so we can keep the momentum alive!

Fifteen organisations, including the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, convened a vigil outside the Israeli embassy in London to mark the second year anniversary of the start of Israel's Operation Cast Lead assault in Gaza in which 1,400 Palestinians were killed.

The demonstration was convened by Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Stop the War Coalition, British Muslim Initiative, Friends of Al Aqsa, Palestinian Forum in Britain, Viva Palestina, Palestinian Return Centre, War on Want, Russel Tribunal on Palestine, Amos Trust, The Green Party, ICAHD UK, Friends of Lebanon, and Public and Commercial Services union.

The demonstration took place outside the Israeli Embassy on High Street Kensington, London between 1300 and 1500 on 27/12/2010.

Thanks for the documentary of the protest on the anniversary day of the Israeli bombardment two years ago. We'll never forget this crime against humanity!

For the 1.5 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip ends the year 2010 as it began. Israeli attacks from the air, the ground and the sea, destroying and wounding nearly every day. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) Weekly Report counted between the 9th-16th of December 2010 four dead through Israeli attacks, including two children.

End the siege - free Palestine!

Everyone can do something! BDS against Israeli apartheid! Boycott companies which supports Israel. Demonstrate infront of "Starbucks" but don't buy your coffee there. Same with Nestlé, AOL Time Warner etc. Check gush-shalom and other websites.

Raise awareness among consumers about the consequences of buying Israeli goods and services. Pressurise supermarkets and shops into removing goods with barcode 729 - denoting Israeli origin - from their shelves.
