Good grief. Never mind even hitting the note once or twice, but singing constantly in that register. He's cranking out at least a high soprano's D and E and not even breaking a sweat on it. What an amazing range this man had!!

Johnny was the first non-family member to join the group in '74, so I'm gonna say this is the earliest this might be. Formed his own trio later(Johnny Cook Trio). His dad(Coy) was a fine tenor too. To bad they're both gone on to heaven now.
