Saint Andrews University SUSCDF 2008

The Saint Andrews Society Scottish Country Dance demonstration team takes the stage at Aberdeen University 5th Dec. 2008 to perform a special dance. Traditional SCD with pretty hip music, and cool costumes to boot! Note: I am the one who dances with the lady in the blue dress during the quiet section, for those who are unfamiliar with this troupe. Highland aficionados take note: we are mostly an SCD troupe, and the highland dance bit in the middle is for some fun. This is not a competition, just an exhibition. :-) Enjoy the wee story and dancing!

I was dancing on a very badly hurt foot that night, so any mistakes/wincing on my part are due to my being in excruciating pain. Thanks also to our intrepid filming assistant; A!

Well done. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool traditional SC Dancer but I enjoyed seeing a new slant to the dance.
