Climate Experts PIX11 Mr. G and Linda Church Weather to lecture to students of the Three 8.000-US Game Before the Mets and Nationals
FLUSHING, NY, May 16, 2011 - New York Mets and PIX11 will host the sixth annual "Day of Climate Education" at Citi Field for 8,000 students from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut before the game between the Mets and Washington Nationals at 1:10 pm
Students enjoy a lesson in meteorology before the game by climate experts PIX11 Mr. G and Linda Church, which involve them in an interactive program on weather patterns and phenomena. Discuss the extreme weather we have experienced in recent months and teach them to students behind the scenes PIX11 Climate Centre.
Mr. Met and the Pepsi Max Party Patrol "will also entertain students and throwing shirts to the people. At the end of the program, students will stay in the stadium to watch the game.
As part of the "Day of Climate Education, " Linda Church will also be giving the weather for the "Morning News PIX11" Citi Field
