The Y.G's (Yung Gangsta's) were Rudolf "Dirt" Rodgers and Kebran "Killa" Williams. Unfortunately Waters Rising was based on a real story. The characters "Killa" and "Gangsta" in the movie Waters Rising were loosely based on the life of the Y.G's growing up in the Desire projects in New Orleans. The music video was shot in 2003. Kebran was murdered as was the character based on him in the Waters Rising movie in 2005. Rudolf aka Dirt (the basis of the Gangsta character) actually, played a role in the film. That characters name was "Dirt".
