"All For Animals" host Susan Richard speaks with volunteers at the Manhattan shelter of Animal Care & Control of New York City, and talks about an ACC program that waives the adoption fee for adult cats (1 year and older) through Labor Day (2009).
Please note, the animals featured in this episode were available as of filming, on July 23, 2009. If they're not available when you inquire, please know that there were many other healthy, friendly perfectly fabulous cats and dogs for you to choose from. (**UPDATE: Lancelot the cat was adopted and is now Emperor of the Apartment and a very happy happy boy. YAY.)

@jurgenmanfred Hi!! This video was filmed over a year ago so King is no longer there. It was my understanding that he was pulled out of the shelter by one of the "New Hope Partners" of the Mayor's Alliance for Animals so chances are good that he was adopted!
