Thank you, Fred Rogers

In 2003, Children's television lost a great friend when Fred Rogers died. This tribute was assembled from footage of Fred Rogers testifying before the United States Senate Subcommittee on Communications on May 1st, 1968. His goal was to prevent a $10 million dollar cut to the funding for Public Television in the only way he could-with honesty and sincerity. This tribute aired on our PBS station, WXXI for three months after his death.

First of all, (speaks in frustration), the @ symbol means "at".

Second of all, I meant to type like this, when I mean "wk", i mean to say week or work, in this case week. I didn't misspell much. For your information, I am in UIL Spelling, and I was the only student in my whole school to receive a 4 out of 4 in my reading essay, which confirms my writing skills. Don't mess with me.

@gacuna2014 okay what you said makes sense but im 13 and i can type wayyyyy better than you please lets us understand what you are trying to say without having to think about it @ does indeed mean "at" but its not supposed to be used in a sentence and you spelling is painful to read because of your age but all in all fred rogers will live on forever in spirit

Omg!!!!!!!!! He's dead?!?!?! I'm 15 years old and still watch mr. Roger wit my mom in wkends!!! An just last week some chik @ camp said 2 bad he's dead n um like w@!!!!!!!!!! N it was hard telling my mom!!!! She's like no way!!! He's supposed 2 be like but...but... he's supposed 2 be ETERNAL!!!!!!!!!!!! So ya
