A Mustang WWII fighter plane is forced to make an emergency landing at RAAF Base Williams, Point Cook, Victoria, Australia, after its landing gear fails. CFA firefighters are on hand for fire prevention and possible rescue. 05/04/08

  • Sink rate too high during landing config to put the prop in feather? It seemed to be spinning pretty fast when it touched. Expensive landing.
