My Grandfather fought in WW2 so that we could "surf", meaning we could be free to do any activity as we wish. To say that surfing is for losers is irrational and irresponsible.

Also, the draft never left. When you turn 18 you have to sign a legal document that is mailed to your home that signs your name for the draft.
