my fist time painting a car and used the duplicolor paint and painted my dune buggy. I researched youtube and educated myself completing the project from making a homemade spray booth to learnig to fiberglass, making a speaker enclosure to color sanding

  • did u put the flakes in the clearcoat or base?

  • @TheLaneyzf, yes the flakes are in the clear coat and considered a mid-coat step. Once you are satified with the coverage of the flakes, then clear coat a few more times without flakes to make the final clear-coats smooth as glass.

  • damn that car came out beutiful man ...wat kind of compressor did you use with the guns you bought i really liked your video i am also a do it your self person it is really cool doing things your self

  • @ChevyGangman323 Thanks...I am using a craftsman 33 gallon upright compressor....it worked just fine.., thanks for the comment

  • i used it that paint all the time is a great paint for the money i use it on ps3 and xbox 360 and Guitars,bass Guitars and some time with my airbrush but nice paint job u did a 10 of 10
