Ever noticed that the nicest people you meet are almost never rich and most, not all, rich people are miserable sons of bitches, so why does the belief that money can get you what you want still persist?

There are recent scientific studies showing that wealthy people are less empathetic to others, and more selfishly obsessed with their OWN lives, less compassion in general. There's a phenomenon called the "Just World Hypothesis", which posits that people who experience great luck/fortune have a psychological need to believe that the world is good & fair, and THAT's why they're well off. It's a subconscious desire to hold onto a situation that is fair for them, but unfair for others.
