I have an hv30 and the hv20 is pretty much the same exact thing. The audio of the camera is pretty good but the mic he uses is a video rode mic. He said he got it for around 100 bucks. The amount of time u can record depends on the mini dv tape u buy...but the tapes r usually around 1 hour so an hour of hd in one tape. You'll like the camera. I answered ur questions cuz he takes a while to reply but he helped me so there u go. Hope this helps.

no fucking way...that's amazing? u gotta have all kinds of attachments. I have an hv30 and i cant get mine to do that lol...just got my sony vegas too...hopefully i can work something out. any pointers? Good freakin job btw.
