the human mind can only think so far and be so creative, people need to realize who gives a fuck about taking from somewhere else. if a collage is considered art and creative then so is sampling and using different things to make a compilation, Technology and other things in the world are re-created in a new way to fit the time we live in. People its MUSIC... just enjoy it DDAamm

@MrMatWeller so true, my professor showed this documentary to our class. I feel the same way that all media, communications or radio/tv students should watch this to understand how our industry works..
This may be the most important new media instructional video to date. If you're in college studying communications and this documentary isn't played in your 101 or Comm Law class, you have grounds to sue for your money back.

@rollinginschizer Well, look at MIDI created music with DAW's and VSTi's... thats nothing more than sampling large libraries of sounds, and slightly modifying them for each situation. Without that, we wouldn't have 90% of the music you see in every modern movie.
None the less, I personally think the whole issue of copyrights are all wrong as a musician/composer myself, I don't mind giving my music away, letting it take its own course, as long as notoriety is given where it came from.
