Although I have 3000 dives and have been diving for 23 yrs, this was my first dive with sea lions. This dive was everything I hoped Cali diving would be. Swimming through the kelp and getting up close to the sea lions was amazing! We had over 50 sea lions playing around us. they would want to play pass the kelp leaf with me and blow bubbles in my face. I just wish i hadn't used most of space on the dives before or i would had lots more of their antics.

but be careful around Anacapa. 2 weeks ago, a lobster diver encountered a huge Great White off the North Side of the West End of Anacapa.
He was on the bottom in 120 feet of water.
just keep an eye out for the landlord and be safe.
