  • What about for "extreme outliers"? IQR(length of box / range) TIMES 3? I know it is a hollow circle. ...& thank you. I did not realize the iqr*1.5 value was subtracted & added to Q1 & Q3 to determine how far the whiskers go to.

  • @23mana23 it is just the middle number for example, if the data set was, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, the median would be 4. Since it is the number in the middle
