This is me and my friend zoe riding my unbroken mare. She had only been sat on when i got her two weeks ago.

She has been long reined and lunged but she was so good 2 ride and didnt misbehave. Despite not understanding the aids and direcions she did amazing. Shes an amazing horse.

We only rode with a headcollar and leadropes; this is not a trick.

TY for watching xx

  • @horseluvxx shes AWESOME! for being unbroke!... scince this is an older vidio.. may i ask how she is now:)?!

  • @Naessly Let's say a horse doesn't want to stand still and flicks his tail because you want to force him to stay still.

Make him move, do circles here, circles there, run over there, stop, change direction, let's go see that barrel, now follow me here. Y'know? Not only circles by the way, that's just boring..

Just make him go go go go without a stop, It does not mean to spend all his energy, that's a useless thing to do. Horses have too much energy. It only means to make him want to stay still

  • She doesn't look too stressed to me. You have to think with your head (not an insult xD I don't mean it to be rude).

Usually when a horse flick his tail alot, it's a sign of disrespect...usually because we ourselves don't respect them. Most of the time, the horse is disrespecting you because he's not happy with what you're doing. You have to make your idea his idea.

  • Wow, she was amazing for a horse that hasnt been ridden before. you have a lovely mare there :) xxxxx

  • Nice, I'm glad to see your horse seems to trust you. A helmet is always a good idea, especially on young or untrained horses though.

  • @horseluvxx I Agree With GoBarrelRacing, BUT My Horse Does That 2 Ways, When Hes Mad At Me Lol, And When There Was Flies, So As Long As Her Ears Were Up Your Good To Go (:

  • @gobarrelracing or there might be flies around....

  • Nice invisa-helmet!

  • I have a two year old and i literally sit on him in the field with no head collar or anything on and when i get uneven or unbalanced (i've never ridden bareback before) he just stops waits for me and carries on ;) <3

  • She looks broke to me lol ... Can't wait to ride my colt for the first time
