For a complete lesson on perimeter, go to http://www.yourteacher.com - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn that the perimeter of a figure is the distance around the figure, so the perimeter of a figure can be found by adding the lengths of its sides. Since all four sides of a square are equal in length, the perimeter of a square that has a side with a length of 8 feet is 8 + 8 + 8 + 8, or 32 feet. Since opposite sides of a rectangle are equal in length, the perimeter of a rectangle that is 4.5 meters by 6.2 meters is 4.5 + 4.5 + 6.2 + 6.2, or 21.4 meters.

  • the way she explains things is pretty funny haha

  • @QP4ozHP8oz lol ooookayyy weirdo :P

  • new yorker for sure.

  • @dragonscape99 Based on how you define a "math person," it depends. I integrate math into my work, so I would consider myself to be a "math person."

  • @VAUSpace i like your explanation, very detailed, are you a math person?

  • @dragonscape99 I suppose it could look like a square, but in reality, it is not. All squares have sides of equal length, and all squares have four right angles (90º angles). Based on general observation, we can easily conclude that the figure referenced in the video does not have four 90º angles (which would be perpendicular lines/line segments if extended), and in slightly more detailed, but still general observation, we can conclude that the referenced figure does not have = sides in length.

  • shes seems mean

  • whaaaaaat the fuuuuck is up with her lol she is the creepiest bitch ever XD

  • How can somebody not understand this lol
