The Journey Of The Inside Edition Horses

On October 22, 2007 Inside Edition followed Pure Thoughts, Inc. Horse and Foal Rescue and Another Chance 4 Horses as they saved sveral horses. The funds to save the horses was raised by the Fans Of Barbaro, both rescues' Yahoo! Groups, The Pasture Pals, and Private Individuals.

@Aristolvr Are you stupid? Breeding more horses is the EXACT reason why she got in this situation. We need to geld all stallions possible, and keep mares from being bred. The only horses that should be bred, if not even then, are purebred, registered, pure quality ones. She probably isn't registered, and doesn't have the best lines one can get ahold of, therefor, she isn't one bit worth breeding. She will make a great horse for anyone who loves horses

Why contribute to the problem- she does not have to bred at all - just cared for and loved...

What is wrong with the sick-slaughter ppl!! Those animals were magnificent! And Sky would make a beautiful broodmare, and Wesh would excel in the show ring! I just want the ppl who slaughter to be slaughtered!!

What a moving video and beautiful music. The people who work at these tasks are to be commended. We've worked in dog rescue for 30 years and just when I think perhaps we're making progress, another batch of horrors rears its head. It's the same with these beautiful horses, but the good people will never give up. We are winning!

this was amazing. my trainer also get's the race horses off the tracks. she brings them home and we re-train them usually for eventing and its amazing. there was a grey horse ont he video who loked like a horse m riend bought from my trainer named. congradulations on your rescues. good luck in the future!

Excellent job on your rescue! We had a similar rescue yesterday in Alberta.... we bought our two direct from the meat pens as well. I've tried to post the video here - hopefully it works. Thanks for showing what outstanding horses are regularly in available for rescue - not just the old, crippled, dangerous horses as they are usually the minority. Most are the healthy youthful well trained horses whose owners have enabled this to happen. Take care and good luck in your future rescues!

i have at least 4 horses that we have bought for this auction and there and many of them there are not in really bad condition, just neglect, under fed, and poor health condition. i found diamonds in the rough and i am gald you guys found some too :)

I was there this monday and rescued a pony. My 4th rescue from New Holland.

The killer bought 40+ minis for 35-50$ each. It was terrible.
