@captainspirou Easy its all in the wrist flick...Dolgo's backhand is horrendous though...slice is good but man hardly any topspin recipe for disaster as far as u/e are concerned

@wesmartin91 LOL Nadal,Fish haha

Glad we had the aesthetically pleasing backhands of kafelnikov and rios there. Not denying their talent and success but man those were gaudy looking backhands, I feel.

nalbandian was never #1 he s highest was #3

One handed backhand is the real weapon of agression. Today's tennis is going into women's direction, like most men in life. But not all.
-
@javnl Well Rafael Nadal is better than both and he is very good at both the two handed back hand and the one handed slice back hand so I'm pretty sure your wrong, but it really is whatever style works for you.

Best 2-handed backhands of all time: 1. Andre Agassi 2. David Nalbandian 3. Marat Safin 4. Andy Murray 5. Novak Djokovic 6. Rafael Nadal 7. Mardy Fish 8. Jimmy Connors 9. Mats Wilander 10. Bjorn Borg

Safin has the best two handed backhand I've ever seen. It's so solid. Dolgopolov has a lot of power with his backhand and doesn't seem to have a lot of back swing. I have no idea how he does it.

i think most of the older players use 2hbh because of the older wooden rackets while now its easier to hit a 1hbh, but i wonder who would win, the older people with the coordination to be able to play with 15 oz 70sq in headsizes or today if they were the same age.....

Weak sauce. Those two can make the argument for the eastern forehand being the true grip of champions, but their backhands were clearly their weakest shot. Borg, Agassi, Wilander, Connors, Nadal kicked butt WITH their backhands, not in spite of it.

There's a mistake in this video, Bjorn Borg used a one hand backhand, but he prepared it with the two hands

Borg hit the backhand with both hands at contact. His backhand was more driven by his dominant arm, but it's a 2HBH nonetheless.
