  • How is it that I remember every word of this song, but I have no idea how old I was when I sang it at school? LOL :-) Thanks for posting this!!!

  • Memories!!! I vividly remember hearing this song played regularly on the "Captain Kangaroo" program way back around 1957 or so. I was so excited because our neighbor in Cincinnati, who had planted a tree in the Fall in his front yard, told me that it was a "lollipop tree". I patiently waited until the following summer to see if lollipops grew on that tree.  If only I could be a little boy again!
