@rautepho These drills are used to 1) Help Stretch out 2) Used to drill over proper running technique. Most runners now a days have improper running technique which leads to wasted movement or even eventual injury. When these drills are done correctly, running form will be increased, which makes one faster, more efficient, and a winner (:

"ameter"? YOU are a eee-dee-oht. I guess only professionals should be permitted to post videos at youdoob now.
Anyway, the demo is ok, imo. A "pro" might do a better job, but the basic info is sound. Mark could work on his own form a little, especially the arms, but I bet he's stil faster than me! ;o)

A very clear illustration of the drills involved. May I know the frequency, distance and number of reps for these drills? Thanks in advance.

@ravenrose89 We usually do them as part of a warmup. The distances are usually about 10m(30ft) but cut it short if you start getting sloppy. Usually only one or two reps per warmup, It is not about strength building, but the movement.
