Ronnie Rice, former songwriter and lead singer ot the New Colony Six performs several songs including 'I will always think about you' which charted #1 on WLS Silver Dollar Survey and #22 Nationally in 1968. The New Colony Six were chosen WLS Radio "Best Chicago Area Group" with 87,000 listeners votes in 1968 and again in 1969. Ronnie is considered one of the best One Man Rock Bands in the Chicago area and can be seen at many Fests in the Spring and Summer around Chicagoland. Ronnie is joined by Dick and DK Davis on this segment from a video that I that I recorded for Dick in December 2005 at Yorktown Center in Lombard, IL.

  • No it is not Woodfield Mall. It is Yorktown Mall in Lombard IL.. Dick held the toy drive there for six years. The past two years have been at Fox Valley and several other malls thru the Westfield Mall chail. You can find out more info and photos of last Dec. toy drive at the WLS FM home page.

  • Ronnie is always so good about doing fund-raisers and helping represent Chicagoland proudly. Check him out in Waukegan IL, May 29th at the Genesee Theatre, and at the Star Plaza May 30th in Merrillville, IN. In concert with The Buckinghams and the Ides of March.
