Next time, if you're willing to "terminate" the wasps, there is a much easier way. You go in before dawn when they're still sleeping. You can use special wasp sprays that will kill them before they awaken and start flying.
But now that you've invested in that suit, I look forward to seeing you dancing in it!

OMG!!!! I've just discovered that I can hold my breath for 9 minutes 15 seconds !!!
I grew up with a fear of bees and wasps as a result of 2 close encounters with swarms. My phobia became really irrational, but I've managed to overcome this in the past few years. Now I can work in the yard with them buzzing away around me.
Nonetheless, it would have been hard enough to watch this if it were a stranger. But it was YOU, Diana...and I found my heart was in my throat the whole time !!

GEEEZ, Diana..be careful! Be keepers suit or not! I deal with wasps all the time around here..If they swarm..it's hard to get away!!! Looks like you're pretty safe though.
I know you don't want to kill them, but I would use a 'hornet spray' first.. It works!!
Sometimes you just have to do them in. That's just the way it is :)

Hi Hon,
I got the suit online on ebay, I believe. It was only $60. and cheaper than a bug man.
Anaconda? I'd do it if I had metal armor for that one. Got any?

Bravo, Girl! Go get 'em! I got stung by two of those little critters that had nested on the doorframe of my storage are. They and their nest are history! One little note about bees and wasps. They secrete pheromones that they use as "guidance" to and from their homes. When you have gotten rid of their nests, wash the area down with a hose and they won't be back!

Thank for the tip! I did squirt some house bug spray on the remainder of the bush afterward.
Keep a suit on hand! ;D
