LABOUR MP Angela Eagle, supported by the women of her Wallasey constituency, has sent a message to David Cameron about why women won't calm down.
Angela appears in Channel 4's The Political Slot this Sunday (October 30, 2011) at 18.55. The programme was filmed on location in Angela's constituency.
Wallasey MP Angela Eagle, Shadow Leader of the House of Commons, said:
"This Tory-led Government has a problem with women and it's not just about David Cameron's boorish behaviour to us in the House of Commons.
"It's women in Britain today who are bearing the brunt of the Government's failing economic policy - from cuts to their jobs, child care and tax credits; to unfair changes in their pension age.
"This Government is out of touch with real people's lives. They seem to have no idea what it's like to worry about soaring energy bills or getting the kids to school on time. The message from women in Wallasey is clear -- until this Tory-led Government starts listening, women won't calm down."
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Typical labour political pygmy. Turning Camerons reposte into a woman hating agenda. Shameful, spiteful and nothing short of a disgrace. You should be sacked. I cant believe we have come to the point were people like this are given a political platform to speak from. It makes my blood boil to think we are having to fund this disgrace as taxpayers. Funny, this was the same politician making abscene gestures in the commons only days ago.
