Shelley reveals what it was like to act, sing, and dance in several Elvis Presley movies and answers the three big questions about her their relationship !
1-What was Elvis really like ?
2-What was it like to Kiss Elvis ?
3-Did you have a romance with Elvis ?
With the pressure Shelley talks about, it is even a wonder that Elvis survived into his early forties. Nobody can live like that. My respect and feelings for Elvis have quadrupled since listening to Shelley. A wonderful woman.
Long live Elvis.

Great to hear stories like this. Classy lady, and I fully believe her when she says that he felt comfortable just being friends with her. The pressure of simply being "Elvis" with all that came with it, must have been a heavy burden. I`m sure that Elvis deep down was just a regular guy who happened to have this tremendous talent that touched so incredible many people. Larry King said that he had never met anyone who KNEW Elvis, who had one bad word to say about him.

For those that can't understand the pressure that Elvis Presley carried throughout his public life, the last 2 minutes of this clip would suffice to make them do so . I'd not heard this particular story and the reason is simple. Of the hundreds of people who were there, as subjects and witnesses, only Shelley Fabares saw it happened, and she was the only one who didn't have to stand up (LOL) The story starts at 7.49 into the clip. Unreal...
