Australia's flood damage may take years to repair

Authorities in Australia say it may take months or even years to reconstruct infrastructure damaged by the worst flooding in decades.




Major rail and road links have been cut, bridges damaged and mines swamped in Queensland state, the world's biggest exporter of coal used in steel-making.




The floods, affecting an area the size of France and Germany combined, have also devastated crops.

this is a terrible ordeal for all involved! as i browse through many of these videos from the devostation in qld i see many of the same comments. all i have to say is families have lost there homes and some even their lives so put the past behind you and have some respect and sympathy for all involved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
