Your stump anvil looks pretty old, do you know if it was made by a company still around? And if so, could you tell me which? Lol, I've been looking for a stump anvil I can take to competitions for a while, but I can't find a decent one.

hey dave nice forge, is it your design?
what materials?
-
@spinafire any heavy flat piece of steel will work for an anvil.you can get a good 2 or 3 pound crosspin hammer from home depot but they want an arm and a leg for them.

Hey, nice video, very interesting ! Is there any tutorial how to make bellows like you have there? Thx

very cool lil stake anvil :) i wish i had 1 lol
nice vid, ? by using the air bag blower to heat of your steel does it also inturn does it make the steel not as hot and harder to work??

@huntin4live No - that's incorrect. Increasing the air-flow to the burning charcoal heats the charcoal more than it would heat up naturally left to it's own devices. This in turn heats the metal up hotter than if it were left in coals burning un-aided. The air blown through doesn't cool the metal, that would be detrimental and would make the whole process pointless.
