October 22nd marks a moment etched in memories for Safe Haven. The band has been a household name at the Northern California Festival Joshuafest since they were featured for the first time in the summer of 2006. With time comes age which brings forth maturity and experience for any artist. In just two days their second album "In The Middle Of Destruction" turns one year old since its debut.
The band was scheduled to perform on the main stage at 6pm when a sudden drift of light rain graced the Amador County Fairgrounds. The skies darkened and the rain began to fall harder as the band played on to "Time To Live Again" and closed their set with their old pop-punk anthem "Hurry, I Don't Wanna Go" with a rendition of "Shout". The temperature dropped as the lights shined bright, the rain fell hard as the crowd responded for more, and the music... well the music carried on.
With the start of their Live Love Guatemala Tour this performance was hands down the return of a band hungry for change and movement. The audience and the band became part of a moment and spectacle so special that neither could ever forget.
