@TheHiddenFear yeah exactly, roslin has been full on good all along , brave! yet gaius has been cowardly since day 1, so for him to take the step against his own identity and way of life, for him to stand up and be counted, is more of a feat and a accomplishment!

Adama 2012!

see, baltar was a major pain. roslin, who is a dying woman with a good few years on him, barely able to walk or stand, gets herself down there and volunteers, whereas he chickens out to stay with his cult. at least he had the decency to join later on

@NKismynextgoal they still had the rebel basestar which could still fight

Poor lieutenant Hoshi: becoming admiral of a civilian fleet that has no defense.

epic adama speech is epic

I love Doc Cottle. I'd walk into fire for Adama. Remember almost filling with tears when Roslin appeared too.

When the zoomed in on Gaius I was like: "C´mon man, do it, go over the line!" I even made a fist with my hand without thinking about it.

it's a variation on Roslin and Adama
I love how he gives this speech like a real combat leader. No allusions to glory and justice or fluffy retoric. He lays it down straight and hard with no remorse. I'd be on the starboard side without any hesitation.
