If you really want a simulation, you should check out BMW M3 Challenge.
It is a free download.

hey wats ur setup, wat percent traction control u got here and do u have steering assist?
-
forza is better
-
No I don't have GT5P...and I was referring in my last comment wholly to Forza 3. And as I said, when you go on the grass in an AWD car, you do have decent traction with the throttle on. However in a RWD car you do not unless you are barely touching the pedal.
-
Assuming you even have GT5P, you're obviously playing with TCS/10 and standard physics. Driving off the road will not allow you to drive decently. By decently I mean with the same consistency as driving on the road. When a wheel slips off the track in Forza, the car maintains its traction as if it were all road. Now unless every single car is fitted with a full 2-way LSD, thats total BS

Going off the track into the grass feels no different that driving on the road? Ok?
When you are in an AWD car you can still drive in the grass decently, but with a RWD car...good luck. You must be playing with all the assists on ;).

you obviously haven't played GT5P if you think you can get away with going full throttle around corners. Forza is much more forgiving when it comes to traction. Going off the track into the grass feels no different than driving on the road.

You do have a point, but please note that almost all GT5P videos on youtube are done with standard physics (this really annoys me) and driver aids on. I don't know how much the aids actually do, but professional physics are very, very different from standard. Basically standard is the kind of physics you have in GT4, professional is completely new, way more realistic. You can no longer just slam the throttle down and not spin out. Physics wise FM and GT are pretty equal now, or so I've heard. :]

el chirrido de las ruedas no lo cambian eh? lo peor del gt siempre xDD

Love Forza and GT5p, but Please make the sounds better in GT, The honda nsx sounds worse in GT5p than it does in GT4!! and those horrid screechy sounds...
I got a question to someone who has this game. When you play it at high resolution, can you actually see what the speedometer shows? I mean are those little numbers well visible?

yup, with hd-tv you can.

It's automatic shifting? In real it's manual.
DeScRuN 3 years ago
There is also an automatic [R-tronic] R8, wich is the only one in gt5p. Check the official carlist.

In GT games, each car have automaic shifting. It's more comfortable to players which don't want to worry about the change gears

DeScRuN is here talking about the driver's hand which is not shifting. The R-tronic has a robotic gearbox so you can drive it with sequential shifting or automatic. The R8 in GT5P is set in automatic and that's why the driver isn't shifting. And Of course you can adjust the playsettings in automatic, semi-auto/sequential[f1-flip/up-down no clutch] and fully manual[G25 with clutch]. But i think it kills the feeling if you drive a fully manual car in semi or auto, but that's my opinion.
